CBD helps bring the internal system into balance. Therefore the medical community is looking more and more into the benefits CBD offers. Legally we can not say it is used to “cure” illness. What is the Endocannabinoid systemIs a biological system composed of endocannabinoids, which are endogenous lipid-based retrograde neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors, and cannabinoid receptor proteins that are expressed throughout the vertebrate central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. The three key components of the ECS are:*Cannabinoid receptors found on the surface of cells*Endocannabinoids, small molecules that activate cannabinoid receptors*Metabolic enzymes that break down endocannabinoids after they are used
